Prices at Balciuin B and B Nethy Bridge from £25.00 Balciuin, Peaceful location - spectacular views Balciuin is a new but traditional style house on the eastern edge of Nethy Bridge, deep in The Cairngorm National Park and the area televised in ‘The Monarch of the Glens’ series. It is 12 miles from Aviemore and 6 from Grantown-on-Spey. At Balciuin you can be assured of a warm welcome, excellent food and exceptionally comfortable accommodation. The house offers spectacular, uninterrupted views over the Abernethy Forest with it’s Scots Pines, capercaillie and abundant red squirrels to the Cairngorm Mountains. Clearly visible (most days) are Cairngorm and the Northern Corries, Bynackbeg, Bynackmor with Meall a Bhuachaille in the foreground. The accommodation consists of three en-suite units: A double room on the ground floor and a twin and family suite on the first floor. The twin room has a double bed settee and ample room for a cot. The family suite comprises of two adjoining rooms:- a large double with king size bed leading into another room with twin beds and single bed settee. The spacious en- suite is off the double room. All units have easy chairs, a remote control television with DVD player, radio alarm, hospitality tray, hairdryer, room heaters, and shaving points in the shower rooms. A travel cot is available on request.
