Description of Rodwell Trail Weymouth

The Rodwell Trail runs along the course of the former Weymouth to Portland Railway Line and is now a designated walkway and cycle trail. It commences near the Radipole Lake RSPB bird reserve and goes all the way to Ferry Bridge which is where the causeway to Portland begins. There are elevated sections overlooking the town, some very leafy sections which feel like a pool of tranquility and other parts which pass close to the shore.
