Restored in 1691 and formerly used as a resting house for monks travelling between Glastonbury and Malmesbury Toghill House stands on the very edge of the Cotswolds four miles north of Bath. From M4 motorway: Leave motorway at junction 18 and drive south towards Bath on A46. At A420 roundabout turn right and drive about 1 mile towards Bristol until brow of Toghill is reached.
