The Mansion House is thought to have been built as early as 1581 although its style is that of a Queen Anne period house(1702-1714). It is best known as the birth place of Norman Angell Lane (Nobel peace prize winner of 1933)who was born in this his family home in 1872. This fine historic building was restored in 2005 to the beautiful hotel it is today. We offer a high standard of accommodation food service and varied selection of beverages. We are conveniently situated in the centre of the small town of Holbeach and centrally placed for visitors to the fens. The Hotel offers a stunning venue for a wedding christening anniversary or special event.

Directions to The Mansion House Hotel Spalding

The Mansion House is situated in the centre of Holbeach High Street just up from boots the chemists and across from swepstones the butchers. We have parking to the right of the hotel under the marquee where there are two spaces and 3-4 to the right hand side of the gravel drive. There is also parking to the left which we keep for multiple bookings all departing at the same time. More parking 20 yrs to the right in the HSBC Bank car park who kindly let us use for banking with them.
