18th Century listed building - fine example of early Victorian architecture. Offers a warm and friendly atmosphere situated on the edge of Hitchin Town Cente. All rooms en-suite with all facilities cosy bar and residents lounge with satellite TV. Accommodation is quaint classical and comfortable. Full English breakfast is inclusive with room rates evening meals are not available however the hotel is able to offer guests 10-20% discount at some of Hitchin's finest restaurants. Car Park situated at the back of hotel on a slight incline. Special weekend rates (restrictions apply) Please be aware the Hotel is a grade 2 listed structure with a lot of steps in and around the building.

Directions to The Lord Lister Hotel Hitchin

From the M1: Take the M1 to junction 10. Follow the A505 ring road around Luton heading towards Hitchin. At Hitchin continue on the A505 following the signs to Stevenage and A1(M). At the large roundabout at the top of the hill take the first exit sign posted Hitchin Town Centre (you will pass the Three Moorhens Pub on your left). The Lord Lister Hotel Hitchin is a further 500 yards on the right off a mini roundabout. From the A1(M): Take the A1(M) to junction 8. Take the exit sign posted A602 to Luton airport and Hitchin follow this road for approximately three miles. At the first roundabout take the fourth exit sign posted Hitchin Town Centre (you will pass the Three Moorhens Pub on your left). The Lord Lister Hotel Hitchin is a further 500 yard on the right off a mini roundabout.
