The Horse and Groom Inn is a lovely family-run 17th Century Coaching Inn which has just undergone a major refurbishment programme (August 2011). At the front of the building is a lovely enclosed patio area surrounded by planters filled with a collection of herb plants.The traditional bar has a stone floor seating for around 25 customers and a wood-burning stove at either end. There's a small snug with a darts throw and comfy leather sofa. At the rear of the building is a dining room which can seat upto 50 people. This area has been completely re-designed as a contemporary eating area.There are 4 en-suite letting rooms (2 x doubles 1 x twin and 1 x single) - each has a TV iPod docking station tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge with fresh milk and complimentary mineral water.The pub is just 5 miles from Banbury (J11 M40) and is situated 0.5 miles from the main Banbury to Chipping Norton road (A361). Continue onto Main Rd and the pub is at the end of the village on the right hand side.
