Harpenden House Hotel is a beautiful Grade II listed Georgian town house with a rich history and the best hotel in Harpenden a bustling country Market Town with a multitude of boutique shops. Harpenden House is the only 4 star hotel in Harpenden and is ideally located for access to Luton St Albans Hemel Hempstead and Welwyn Garden City from the M1 M25 and A1 motorways. The menu at the WinePress at Harpenden House Hotel is overseen by Daniel Galmiche a Michelin starred chef who has worked in conjunction with the head chef at the hotel to create inspired delicious unstuffy food served in a relaxed atmosphere. Wine features heavily and there are 40 wines available by the glass which have been handpicked. Unwind and take in the atmosphere of the Welcombe lounge serving traditional afternoon tea. Many of the original period features remain including a large 18th Century fireplace in the lounge.
