The Exmoor Forest Inn. Set in the heart of beautiful Exmoor one of the smallest National Parks covering about 265 square miles With its long and spectacular coast line high moorland with wild ponies and red deer steep valley with tumbling streams and picturesque villages all together a lovely place to be. Ideally situated for walking riding fishing shooting or just enjoying the beautiful surroundings. We have fly fishing for wild trout and salmon on a 1 miles stretch of the River Barle. Day tickets are available. We are perfectly positioned for a first or last nights stay on the Two Moors Walk linking Exmoor to Dartmoor. We are a Visit Britain 4 Star Silver Award Rated Inn. SOUTH BOUND - Leave the M5 at junction 25 for Taunton take the A358 Minehead road until just after Bishops Lydeard then left onto the B3224 through to Weddon Cross and Exford. The next village is Simonsbath we are on the right as you travel down the hill towards the river Barle.NORTH BOUND - Leave the M5 at junction 27 for Tiverton follow the A361 by-passing Tiverton turn right onto A396 to Weddon Cross turn left onto B3224 through Exford and on to Simonsbath we are on the right as you travel down the hill towards the river Barle.
