The Chequers is a Country Inn built in the 1700s with beamed ceilings slate floors and open fires. Large eating areas are available with wide choice of food catered for. Although the Inn is located in the heart of the country we are 1 mile away from the A5 with close proximity to M69 M1 and M6 and 'so called Middle England' due to the crossing of Watling Street and the Fosse Way.In addition to conference facilities and a car park taking up to 85 cars The Chequers is well known for its comfortable family atmosphere with recently refurbished bedrooms which are all ensuite with in room tea and coffee trouser press telephone television and full English breakfastBreakfast is served from 7am- 8am Monday-Friday and 8am - 9am Saturday and SundayWe have guests staying with us who work at The National Exhibition Centre Magna Park Lutterworth Coventry and Rugby We also accommodate divers who visit Stoney Cove and both drivers and enthusiasts going to Mallory Park and Bruntingthorpe and visitors from all over the world coming to visit relatives or take in the local tourist attractionsCheck in is after 3pm Tuesday - Sunday and after 5pm on Monday - the front door will be locked between 3-5pm Tuesday-Friday please ring intercom by the front door to alert our staff
