Located in peaceful countryside on the Kent and East Sussex Border but less than 2 miles (5 minutes drive) outside of The Historic Town of Rye we are perfectly sited for exploring Rye Romney Marsh Camber sands and other attractions. We are also 20 minutes drive from the market town of Tenterden and 30 minutes drive from Ashford where there is a large outlet mall and of course Ashford international train station for the passenger Eurostar. Folkestone Eurostar terminal for vehicles is 45 minutes drive away. Unlike hotels in Rye centre we have free on site parking.We are a quiet country inn offering good home-made food a good choice of real ales and we offer customer service on a personal level without intruding on your privacy.We have 2 delightful letting rooms set in our cottage style garden separate to the inn in a converted stable block both have: King sized beds with duvets En suite Original oak beams Tea and coffee making facilities Flat screen Televisions with freeview.Power Hairdyers. House trained dogs welcome. Once checked in guests have their own key and can come and go as they please at any time without need to access the inn.For guests booking our bed and breakfast package a full English breakfast is served in our dining room or alfresco on our patio the choice is yours! Breakfasts are cooked to order. PLEASE NOTE:- that we are only able to offer breakfast service AT 9.00am. Choice of fruit juice choice of teas or coffees cereal bacon sausage eggs beans tomato and mushrooms toast and preserves. We are pleased to serve Homemade wholesome food and whenever possible use local ingredients.We serve food from Noon - 2.30pm and 6.00pm -9.00pm (Sundays Noon - 3.00pm and 6.00 - 7.30pm). Our Restaurant is closed Mondays. The Average cost of a 2 course meal is œ15.CHECK IN TIMES 3.00pm until 9.00pm.

Directions to The Bell at Iden RYE

FROM RYE: Take the A268 - Signposted to London - and follow this road up the hill past 'Top of the Hill' Pub on your left - past 'The Playden Oasts' (on your right) - To 'The Peace and Plenty' Pub where you turn right ( sharp turn but there is a centre marking in the road for turning)and head for Tenterden on the B2082. On entering Iden you meet a sharp bend with 'The Bell at Iden RYE' on your left. DRIVING TIME 5 MINUTES (2.2 miles from Rye station)
