Just 4 miles (4 minutes) from Stranraer and 1 mile from Cairnryan.Rhins of Galloway sits by the A77 between the 2 ferry ports of Stranraer and Cairnryan which are 5 miles apart. Set in lawned gardens with private parking for cars and vans (no HGV) 20 yards from a shingle beach and overlooking Loch Ryan we offer quality accommodation within a hotel setting (since we do not have a licensed bar or provide evening meals we are classified as a Guest House rather than a Hotel). Bedroom corridors and other communal areas provide a mix of antiques and modern design. All bedrooms have contemporary furniture quality en-suites dressing tableworkdesk and chair armchairssofas to relax and enjoy either the superb views or television with free-to-air satellite channels and a well-stocked courtesy tray.Breakfast is served from 07.30 overlooking the gardens the loch and the docking ferries but for earlier departures a tray can be provided with juice cereal and filled baguette (please advise on booking). A licensed restaurant is available 2 miles away in Cairnryan and there are a host of other eateries in Stranraer.The entire building is strictly non-smoking. Check-in is from 15:00 to 23:30 (admission will not be possible after this point).
