Although the Prestwick Old Course Hotel is recently under new management the building has long been established as one of the areas most recognisable buildings. The building dates back to 1854 and has had various incarnations including the Auchencoyle Hotel seen among the pictures further down the page. The hotel itself still retains many of the original features including the golf coat of arms that sits proudly at the top of the building. As the hotel sits right next to the golf course it affords our customers an excellent view of a selection of holes many visitors have commented on the view afforded to them from the barlounge main window and from the first floor above. As you would expect from a hotel with a central location the local shops are a 5 minute walk from the hotel itself and with only a short journey to and from the airport we believe that choosing the Prestwick Old Course Hotel for your stay will only add to the enjoyment you will experience visiting this historic part of Scotland. The Hotel is 2 minutes drive away from Prestwick Airport follow the signs to Prestwick Town take the first right turn at the set of traffics lights into Station Road Prestwick Town Train Station is on the right hand side. underneath the bridge and this now becomes Links Road and the Prestwick Old Course Hotel Prestwick is adjacent to Prestwick Golf Club. .
