An ancient vicarage in 1278 the Mercure Dorking was first established as an inn in 1750 and is part of Dorking's rich heritage. Charles Dickens was a visitor and did some of his writing here. This is the start of the High Strret. Follow The High Street For 600 Yards The Hotel Is On Your Left.The entrance for the Car Park is under the Archway.
