DirectionsFrom Exeter directionFrom M5 continue south when it becomes the A38 heading for Plymouth. At Buckfastleigh take the A384 for Totnes (signed posted for Salcombe).At Totnes take the A 381 to Kingsbridge.At Kingsbridge take the A381 to Malborough and Salcombe.From Plymouth directionTake the A38 to Exeter. At Ivybridge turn off signed posted for Ermington Modbury. When you reach the A 379 turn left and follow signs for Modbury Aveton Gifford and Kingsbridge.At Bantham Cross roundabout go straight over for Salcombe B3197. Do not turn left for Kingsbridge. Join the A 381 by bearing right and continue towards Malborough.Both directions from here.After Malborough head for Salcombe.As you approach Salcombe there is a Salcombe' and 30 mph' sign on the left. Turn left here. This is a wide entranced lane heading down a hill. Signed unsuitable for HGV's) (If you have gone as far as the petrol station you have gone too far.)Go down the hill for about 75 yards. Take the first left at the little green triangle. This lane is Higher Batson but there are no signs. It says not good for HGV's. Do not go all the way down to the water.Herons is found about 100 yards along on the right. The name is on the big white gate. There is plenty of parking in the driveway.
