The Greyhound Coaching Inn and Hotel is a charming and traditional 18th Century coaching inn located in the South Leicestershire town of Lutterworth. A family-owned hotel The Greyhound Hotel has been sympathetically restored by Robert Eggleston to provide an easy-going charm and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel dates back to c.1720 and you'll find the bedrooms are often very different in character. From single and twin rooms to family rooms and executive accommodation The Greyhound Hotel can offer a wide assortment of accommodation to suit your requirements from a room for just a stop-over to a more luxurious room complete with jacuzzi. For weddings and special occasions we also have two four-poster bedrooms.Guests can expect a warm welcome to this Grade II listed building and enjoy superb home-cooked food in the Restaurant or an intimate candle-lit dinner in the Vaults Italian Bistro. Our separate lounge bar serves real ale as well as a wide variety of bar snacks and full meals. The Greyhound Hotel offers 32 en-suite bedrooms all individually decorated to a high specification. For centuries there were a number of Coaching Inns. Today The Greyhound Coaching Inn and Hotel is the only Lutterworth hotel to keep up a centuries old tradition.The hotel is ideally situated on J20 of the M1 with easy and convenient access to the M1 M6 A14 A5 and A50 as well as to the towns of Rugby Coventry Leicester Hinckley Market Harborough and Birmingham. Being located at the crossroads of all these major routes the hotel is just 10 minutes from J1 M69 5 minutes from J1 M6 only 20 minutes from Donnington Race Track and just 30 minutes from The NEC.

Almost at the centre of England our Georgian Hotel offers relaxation and comfort to the discerning traveller and is conveniently situated half a mile from junction 20 on the M1 and just a few minutes from the A5 M6 and the A14. When you enter Lutterworth look out for the Brown Tourist Signs for the Greyhound. These will direct you to the Car Park behind the hotel. Behind the hotel is a car park for 60 cars which can be reached by driving into Church Street and turning right along Chapel Street following the Brown Tourist Signs. Opposite the front of The Greyhound are further public car parks.
