Now under new management! The hotel was built in 1710 and is the original marriage house in Gretna Green. Situated in the heart of Gretna Green the hotel is the ideal base to explore South West Scotland and the Lake District. We are seeing some exciting changes this year and we want you to come and see. The Historic City of Carlisle is only a 10 minute drive and offers plenty to see and do. Heading North on the M6M74- 44 exit off junction 45 for GretnaGretna Green. At the T Junction take a left onto the B7076 (Sign posted Gretna Green) then go straight over the mini roundabout at Gretna Gateway Outlet Village. Go straight over the traffic lights then turn right at the War Memorial.Heading South on the M74- Past Gretna Service area (Welcome Break) branch left then take the 1st exit on the roundabout signposted Gretna Green. Turn left onto the B7076 at the T Junction. The hotel is situated approximately 200 yards on the right hand side.
