If you want urban culture why not visit Exeter itself with its impressive cathedral and ancient architecture.The location is ideal for touring both Devon coasts Exmoor and Dartmoor with easy access to M5 and A30.The nearby historic town of Bampton dates back to 700AD. It is a short walk away and contains many historic and beautiful buildings. Bampton takes its floral displays very seriously and and has won the national Britain in Bloom competition no less than six times.Landlord Ian Adams is a Fellow of the 'British Institute of Innkeepers' (FBII) the professional body for the Licensed trade and is recognized as having high professional standards throughout the industry. On top of this he has been awarded the 'Cask Marque' accreditation for the high standard of quality of the real Ales which are available at the Exeter Inn. Directions to Exeter Inn Bampton

Turn off the M5 at junction 27 take the exit signposted to Tiverton A361. Continue down the dual carriage way until you reach a roundabout (approx 6.5 miles) then take the 3rd exit signposted to Bampton A396 drive down this road passing through Bolham and Cove we are 1 mile outside of Cove on the left handside at the mini roundabout.
