Although some of the holes are quite forgiving the closing four holes are regarded as one of the toughest finishes in the country with water featuring prominently on 15th 16th and 17th holes.

From the M4 West (SwindonBathBristol) Leave the M4 at junction 13. At the roundabout take the third exit signed for the A34 Newbury. Once you have left the roundabout take the next left signed for DonningtonServices. At the second roundabout take the second exit right signed for Donnington and at the third roundabout turn left. Follow the road for two miles and Donnington Valley Hotel and Golf Club are located on the right hand side - The Golf Club is first and then the hotel is 300 yards further on the right.From the M4 East (LondonReading) Leave the M4 at junction 13. At the roundabout take the first exit signed for the A34 Newbury. Once you have left the roundabout take the next exit left signed for DonningtonServices. At the roundabout take the second exit right signed for Donnington. At the third roundabout turn left. Follow the road for two miles and Donnington Valley Hotel and Golf Club are located on the right hand side. The Golf Club is first and then the hotel is 300 yards further on the right.
