From Dumfries take A711 to Dalbeattie head towards Castle Douglas. At the edge of Dalbeattie turn right towards the Haugh of Urr along the B794. Maxwell Park is the 4th access road on the right (signposted Golf Club). 150 yards up the hill at the small crossroads Dalbeattie Guest House is Number 13 ( topside on the left.)
