Chillington House is a Bed and Breakfast Hotel in the villlage of Chillington. There is a south facing garden which two bedrooms have private access. Guests may sunbathe in the garden or relax by the fire in the guest lounge.Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty Chillington House is the perfect place for business or leisure guests.Breakfast is served in the warm light conservatory with views out to the garden. Our delicious breakfasts include a large buffet including organic yogurt house recipe muesli nuts freshly baked bread with Jeannie's home-made jams and home-made fruit compote. Cooked breakfasts are freshly prepared to order by Adam with locally sourced ingredients Adam has over 15 years experience as a qualified chef.Our comfortable ensuite rooms are spacious and decorated in a relaxed style. The rooms have Queen or super king size beds to avoid any squabbles for the duvet! All the bedrooms are equipped with a 32 inch television tea and coffee making and wifi facilities. The house has a lounge where you can relax in front of the fire and a pretty garden for sunbathing.There is a disabled access bedroom on the ground floor with a specially equipped shower and 4 other bedrooms on ground level. Every room has its own parking space on site. Cots and high chairs are available on request we are also happy to provide additional items you may need for feeding a baby so that you can travel a little lighter. We have three dog-friendly rooms available for well behaved dogs at additional cost of œ5 per dog per night please note that dogs must be kept on a lead at all times must not be left in rooms unattended are not allowed in the lounge or conservatory during breakfast. Directions to Chillington House Kingsbridge

From the M5 south follow signs to Plymouth and then onto the A38. On the A38 look for signs to Kingsbridge. In the town of Kingsbridge take the A379 Dartmouth Road passing through the villages of West then East Charleton and Frogmore until you reach Chillington. The house is located at the far end of Chillington village on the main road on the corner of Fairfield Way on the right. From Cornwall head to Plymouth and then follow the signs to Kingsbridge on the A38 and the continue as above.If you are arriving from the Dartmouth direction in Chillington village we are the last House on the left at the end of the initial narrowing of the road.For Sat Nav users the postcode is TQ7 2JX however be warned as many will take you on a scenic route over the Dartmouth Ferry or down some very narrow lanes.The nearest train station is Totnes with direct trains from London in under 3 hours.The nearest airports are Plymouth and Exeter.The house is located on the 93 Kingsbridge - Dartmouth bus route. It's a big double decker and a great way of seeing the wonderful coastal road with an elevated view.
