An equally good all day menu offers a wide choice of traditional bar food and high quality dishes plus afternoon tea with home-made scones and cream. A traditional Sunday roast lunch is served at weekends it is advised to book in advance for this popular time of week. The Culver Room is available for private dining or meetings of up to 25 people whilst the Golden Valley Room on the first floor can accommodate smaller gatherings of up to 14. The hotel can cater for 45 guests seated or up to 60 for a buffet menu. Your employees or guests will find a homely welcoming atmosphere with friendly attentive staff that are on hand to ensure any event runs smoothly.Minchinhampton boasts three 18 hole golf courses one of which on the common itself and almost adjoins the hotel. The Princess Royal's Gatcombe House known for its annual horse trial. Further afield you will find a whole host of activities and places to visit including Slumbridge which has the largest collection of exotic wildfowl Westonbirt has six hundred acres of land featuring one of Europe's finest collections of trees and shrubs. Also Berkeley Castle Jenner Museum Corinium Museum Cotswold Water Park and Bourton on the Water. Bath is only a short drive away and is probably the best preserved piece of Roman Britain and is deservedly among the nations top tourist attractions.

Directions to Amberley Inn Stroud

From the M5 Head South West exit at junction 13 and take the first exit at the roundabout onto the A419. Continue on the A419 over 5 more roundabouts. At the next roundabout take the third exit onto theA46 (keep in right-hand lane and at traffic signals branch right onto A46). At the T-Junction turn right onto Bath Road A46 then shortly after left onto Culver Hill the hotel is located on this road.
