The beautiful seaside resort and yachting centre of Salcombe with it's stunning estuary views and high quality restaurants is just 3 miles away as is the equally delightful town of Kingsbridge with it's local amenities and supermarkets.

Directions to Ackmans Cottage BB Kingsbridge

From kingsbridge head towards Salcombe on the A 381 go past the South Milton turning continue up the hill and as you come down the hill there is a turning on the right signposted to South Huish. Turn right here (don't confuse with Hope Cove turning which is 50 yards further on) follow the lane past the Sawmill and up through the cutting in the rock. Turn right at the next junction go past the derelict church (lane wiggles a bit) and about 300 yards on you will see a sign that says 'Farms only' pointing down to the right. Turn right here and Ackmans Cottage is the yellow thatched cottage after the barn conversion.
