The ALARA Bed and Breakfast Sheffield is a family run BandB that has been successfully running for the last eight years and we would like to extend our homely welcome to you. We are on the A61 North also known as Penistone Road between the Sheffield Wednesday Football Stadium and the Hillsborough park. We are a few hundred yards from the Napoleon Casino The Dog Tack Hillsborough Swimming Baths and the Hillsborough Barracks. We are on the same side of the city as Hallam University University of Sheffield Hallamshire Hospital Northern General Hospital Motorsport Arena and Meadowhall that can all be reached by tram. The rooms we offer are clean and bright we are currently updating our rooms and customer spaces therefore this is reflected in our prices. Please note that there will be no disruption or disturbance to your stay as always the ALARA team will endevour to meet your needs and requirments. ALARA Bed and Breakfast SHEFFIELD Sheffield- is located in Hillsborough area which is in the north of Sheffield. We are on A61 North towards Barnsley. TRAVELLING FROM NORTH Take the J36 off the M1 use the 4th exit on the first roundabout keep driving on the A61N towards the town centre follow signs for the City Centre or SWFC football ground. As you reach the Football Ground you will see Herries Road on your left carry on to the next traffic light where ALARA BandB will be on your right. Take a left at the traffic lights into Bastoc Road and wait for the traffic lights to cross over onto the other side of the road ( Kind of U turn). Then take a left into Winster Road then left into the car parkTRAVELLING FROM SOUTHTake the J33 off the M1 onto A57 as you approach the Parkway roundabout you will pass MATALAN and Carphone Warehouse on the left move to the righthand lane and take A51 to North follow signs for Barnsley or Sheffield Wednesday Football Ground. Keep driving on the A51 dual carriageway until you join Penistone Road (Also known as A61N. You will see the tram line at the beginning of Penistone road-South). Carry on for appx 2 miles on the A51N until you reach the BandQ KFC Pizza Hut Hillsborough Park on leftand Hillsborough Leisure Centre on the right. Pass the first set of traffic lights AFTER the Leisure Centre but stay on the left lane as you approach the second set of traffic light. Alara is on the left. Take first left where Corner Cafe is and left again into car parkIt's good to see you!
