Bosherston Lily Ponds - National Trust Bosherston Lily Ponds and the surrounding woodlands of the Stackpole Estate have several gentle walks which also link up with Broadhaven Beach and Barafundle Bay, two of the most beautiful beaches in Pembrokeshire. The Lily ponds can be accessed from Bosherston or Stackpole Quay where there are National Trust car parks.
The lily ponds are popular with bird and wildlife watchers (look out for otters). There are wheelchairs accessible routes.
The valleys were flooded in the 18th and 19th Centuries to make attractive grounds for a stately home which was demolished in the late fifties. As you walk around you come across interesting remnants of the previous use such as an ice house.
